Loop Technology recently hosted this exclusive luncheon to assist organisations in demystifying PPG234 and how to adopt the recent guide. The guide provides an opportunity for APRA regulated institutions to effect real change by aligning to the best practice information security approach. It also gives organisations the chance to understand the common gaps that APRA has identified when assessing the information security of Financial Services institutions against industry best practice.

Daniel Hooper, Loop Technology's Information Security Lead kicked off the session with a presentation on how to approach PPG234 and some of the non-technical controls institutions can implement to align to the guide. Louis Rabon, Loop Technology's National Services Delivery Manager then presented on some of the more technical controls that once implemented would assist institutions in developing a best practice approach to security.

The luncheon was received well by all and everyone enjoyed the food. The Loop team was even lucky enough to meet Matt Moran (Owner and Head Chef of Aria) in Brisbane!
