Business challenge:
NEC Australia wanted to overcome lack of visibility into intrusion incidents. They also needed to switch to a more proactive mode for addressing events and conform to corporate standards for log file management reporting.
Solution
We deployed RSA enVision security information and event management solution (SIEM) to automatically collect and analyse log data from 20 Internet-facing network devices. This would also assist in automating previous manual operations.
Outcome
Full compliance with corporate policy regarding the collection and management of log files. Complete visibility of threats with alerts and alarms for fast response and much greater security of sensitive information
